- Joe Biden's cognitive decline is a reminder that presidents should be transparent about their health, which is why we're going to completely ignore Donald Trump's obvious cognitive decline for the following year;
- Democrats need to fix the economy, but voters shouldn't expect Republicans to do the same since that's not realistic, and anyway, you can always get a paper route to deal with those high prices;
- The economic indicators were good in 2024 but voters thought they were bad, which just means the Democrats have a messaging problem. Reality doesn't matter.
- Tax cuts for the rich, which we support, do drive up the debt, which we plan to not support.
- ICE is rounding up innocent people, which is bad. But not as bad as Democrats' messaging.
- Epstein files? What Epstein files?
Also, "The teachers unions are tearing the city apart through their demands for student resources, so we should privatize education and make it all courtesy of Walmart and Home Depot." There. I just wrote Paul Vallas' column for tomorrow's paper.
